Using Assessment Results for Continuous Improvement

Session Description: Participants may explore different topics related to using assessment for continuous improvement, including types of assignment results to use (i.e. students, programs, courses, outcomes), ways to share results with students and engage faculty in interpretation and decision-making practices. Come and share your successes as assessment professionals in facilitating use of assessment for improvement of teaching and learning.

Format: Join fellow members in guided informal conversations in breakout rooms of 4-6 on a topic of your choice:

• Core curriculum assessment: General education, institutional level assessment at the undergraduate level
• Discipline-specific assessment at the undergraduate level
• Graduate programs
• Co-curricular assessment (any degree level)

During the conversation, participants exchange their experiences, listen, receive feedback, and engage in wondering and pondering about this ALE’s topic.
