Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assessment ConversationsRegister for the DEI Assessment ConversationsDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Assessment Conversations are monthly virtual meetings, designed as an opportunity for AALHE members to discuss challenges and solutions to barriers to conducting equity-minded assessment. To provide a loose structure for the meeting, participants will be encouraged to review a resource on a topic related to equity and assessment prior to the meeting, and members of the AALHE President’s Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will facilitate the meeting by asking questions and encouraging interaction. The goals of these conversations are to serve as an informal professional development opportunity for AALHE members and to help inform the DEI Committee about how AALHE can better support assessment professionals in their work. Structure1. Conversation facilitator(s) will briefly summarize the reading and then facilitate discussion, centering on these five questions:

Conversation facilitator(s) will prepare a brief summary of the ideas discussed in the meeting, including recommended resources, and will provide a link to the summary in the registration page schedule. The conversations will be held at two different dates and times to accommodate varying time zones and schedules.
