AALHE 2020 Online Exhibitor and Sponsor FAQ

What is the Resource Fair?

AALHE began hosting its Resource Fair as a special event to thank our sponsors and drive attendees to their booths.  The event has traditionally included book signings, a pop-up book store; we'd offer snacks and cocktails all of which we would host in the hotel foyer where exhibitors were stationed.

We'll host the Resource Fair once each of the two weeks: Wednesday, June 10, 1-3pm Central; Wednesday June 17, 1-3pm Central

How will my team host a “virtual Booth” for the resource fair?

Exhibitors will be provided a "virtual booth" in the form of an AALHE Zoom account during the resource fair on Wednesday, June 10, 1pm - 3pm CT and Wednesday, June 17, 1pm-3pm CT.

During the resource fair, these Zoom meetings may be staffed with anyone from your organization who would like to help moderate or guide the discussion. (Please note that logins to the conference website are available to registered Sponsors, but within your live Zoom meeting, you can elect to have anyone on your team log in. If you and Paul have not received your welcome email yet, please let me know and I can forward your login information).

If your team would like to use your own Zoom account during the event, just let us know and we can make that happen. However, please let us know as soon as possible, as we will be tracking attendees who visit your booth with Zoom reports so we can send along AALHE-provided giveaway prizes.

My team has a presentation. How does this work?

Please follow the instructions for the speaker presentations within the Presenter and Sponsor Navigation Guide. We ask that sponsors provide their own moderators and host the rooms themselves.

What incentives are you offering for attendees to visit my virtual booth/presentation?

More information on AALHE-provided give-aways and prizes are coming soon. If you would like to provide your own give-aways, prizes, or incentives, please feel free to contact us.

How else can we interact with attendees?

There will be several ways to interact with attendees throughout the conference; through our connected community track discussion boards, through live Zoom meetings, and through the grantee program.

How do I connect with my grantees?

AALHE will provide you a list of grant recipients during the second week of the conference. The recipients will be notified of your sponsorship, and you may request a contact of them through the connected community profile feature.

I have a question that isn’t answered here. Who can I ask?

You may post a question within the discussion board of the Exhibitor Hall Track, review the information there, and/or contact Lorna Keach for more information. I Thank you for your support!
