Intersection Call for Papers: Summer 2018 edition

The AALHE Quarterly Intersection invites your submissions on the theme of “found data.” Much of the time, assessment data is difficult to get, but sometimes it is free for the asking. For this purpose, any information that might tell us about student learning or development is of interest. This includes grades, course registrations, admissions data, learning management systems logs or products, surveys, or maybe some test data you found in a drawer. It could be quantitative or qualitative. We are looking for short, to-the-point articles that focus on what you learned about students from looking at the data, including how you looked at it, and/or any useful connections to published research that you may have found.

We welcome proposed paper outlines that describe the project, with a due date of May 1, 2018. If you wish, we can provide ongoing feedback to develop your idea into the final paper for publication in Intersection. Alternatively, you may have a fully-developed paper ready to submit. The deadline for complete manuscripts is June 1, with an anticipated publication date of mid-July.

General Guidelines: APA style should be used for citations. Submissions should not be used to market specific products.
