Canvas Assessment Basics: Using Canvas LMS for Automated Data Collection of Institutional and Program Outcomes - Webinar

This 90-min webinar will demonstrate the process of creating institutional, college, and program outcomes in Canvas. These outcomes are aligned with assessment tasks through the scoring devices used in courses, internships, or other course-based means through which students demonstrate outcomes proficiencies. The session will provide a foundational understanding of the architecture of the Canvas Assessment Portal and how it connects with assessment tasks to automate data collection. Processes of working with programs and faculty will be shared that have been found to enable ownership of assessment processes.

Participants will receive an AALHE Assessment Fundamentals badge upon completion of the full workshop.

Student Membership - $40 annually

Student Membership grants access to all membership benefits as included in our Individual Membership but at a reduced rate specifically for full-time students who are not employed full-time. This membership is not transferable, and a .edu email address is required to qualify.

Institutional Membership

  • 3 Member seats - $350 annually

  • 5 Member seats - $550 annually

  • 10 Member seats - $1000 annually

  • Unlimited Member seats - $1500 annually

The Institutional Membership grants institutions a discounted rate on member seats for individuals and provides those individuals filling the Member seats all membership benefits included in our Individual Membership. There are also additional benefits including administrative account access to reassign the Institutional Member seats and register those using Institutional Member seats for events. Members of higher education, degree-granting institutions may purchase Institutional Memberships.

Associate Membership - $175 annually

The Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education is implementing an Associate Member category. This member category will be available as of July 1, 2022. Per the AALHE Bylaws, Associate Members shall be those who become members of the Association and are not employed by higher education, degree-granting institutions. Associate members shall have the right to serve on Association committees.
